30. June 1556

Battles began on June 18, 1556: the Order took its army to the lands of bishopric of Riga and captured the fort in Rauna on June 21.

The rest of the bishopric fell to the Order over the following days; on June 28 or 29, the main forces of the Order, lead by Order's coadjutor Wilhelm Fürstenberg, rallied in Koknese, where both Wilhelm and his coadjutor Christoph were staying.

The fort capitulated already on June 30, and Christoph and Wilhelm were imprisoned. This ended battling and the conflict, and all of the bishopric capitulated to the Order.
